Bulk Messaging

Send a one-off email or WhatsApp message — to one contact or many — directly from the Contacts list, without leaving the page.

Starting a Bulk Message

Select one or more contacts in the list using the checkboxes, then use the toolbar's Send Bulk Email or Send Bulk WhatsApp button. (Selecting a single contact still uses this flow — the form just labels itself for one recipient instead of a campaign.)

A two-step wizard opens: Message, then Delivery.

Step 1: Message

Email

  • Subject — required
  • Cc / Bcc — optional recipient chips
  • Choose an existing email template (search, then Apply or Preview), or write your own using the rich-text toolbar (Bold, Italic, Underline, Lists, Alignment)
  • Campaign Name — shown when sending to multiple contacts

The form title reads "New Email" for a single contact, or "Bulk Email Campaign" for multiple.

WhatsApp

  • Campaign Name
  • Choose a WhatsApp template (search picker with a live message-bubble preview)
  • Map each template variable to a contact field, or a fixed value

The form title reads "WhatsApp Message" for a single contact, or "Bulk WhatsApp Campaign" for multiple. You can't continue until a template is selected.

Step 2: Delivery

Choose Send Immediately, or Schedule for later with a date and time picker.

The submit button adapts to your choice and audience size: Send Message / Schedule Message for one contact, or Send Now / Schedule Campaign / Launch Campaign for multiple.

Bulk Messaging vs. CSV Broadcast Campaigns

This flow sends to contacts already selected in your Contacts list. If you instead want to import a fresh list of contacts from a spreadsheet and message them as part of that same flow, use the CSV Broadcast campaign entry point from Conversations — see Importing Contacts for how that variant works.
