Trigger Links
Trigger Links are short, trackable URLs that you can share with your contacts. Every time someone clicks a trigger link, QuantixOne records the click and can optionally fire automated actions — such as adding a tag, sending a webhook, or updating a contact's status.
Use trigger links in messages, emails, or campaigns to understand which contacts are engaging with your content.
Navigating to Trigger Links
Click Trigger Links in the left sidebar under the Conversations section.
Click Trigger Links to manage your trackable short URLs.
The Trigger Links page shows all your existing links with their names, short codes, click counts, and unique visitor counts.
Creating a Trigger Link
Click the + New Trigger Link button to create a new trackable URL.
Fill in the link details:
- Link Name — A descriptive label for internal reference (e.g., "Pricing Page — April Campaign").
- Target URL — The full URL the link will redirect to when clicked (e.g.,
https://yoursite.com/pricing).
Click Save to create the link. QuantixOne will generate a short code automatically.
Copying and Sharing the Short URL
After creating a trigger link, click the Copy Link button (or the copy icon) to copy the short URL to your clipboard.
The short URL looks like: https://app.quantixone.com/r/abc123
Paste this short URL in any message, email, or campaign. When the contact clicks it, they will be redirected to your target URL, and the click will be recorded.
Viewing Click Analytics
Click on any trigger link in the list to open its detail page. Here you can see:
- Total Clicks — The number of times the link has been clicked in total.
- Unique Visitors — The number of unique contacts or devices that clicked the link.
Editing a Trigger Link
To update the target URL of an existing trigger link, click the Edit button (pencil icon) on the link detail page or from the list.
Update the Target URL and click Save. The short URL stays the same — only the destination changes.
Note: Any existing click history is preserved when you edit a trigger link. Changing the target URL does not reset the analytics.
Deleting a Trigger Link
To delete a trigger link, click the More Options menu (three dots) on the link and select Delete.
Note: Deleting a trigger link will deactivate the short URL. Anyone who clicks the old short URL after deletion will no longer be redirected.
