Form Settings & Sync

The Settings tab in the form editor controls what happens after someone submits your form, a handful of form-wide behaviors, and whether submissions sync to your CRM contacts.

Step 1 — Open the Settings Tab

From the form editor, click the Settings tab. You'll see an On-Submit Action card, a live preview pane, and a Form Settings card.

Step 2 — Choose an On-Submit Action

Pick what respondents see immediately after submitting:

  • Show a Message — write a custom message using the rich-text editor, with optional styling for background color, font color, font family, size, and weight.
  • Show an Order Confirmation — display a standard order confirmation instead of a custom message.
  • Redirect to a URL — send respondents to a URL of your choice after submission.

The preview pane updates live to reflect whichever option is selected.

Step 3 — Configure Form Settings

Three toggles control form-wide behavior:

SettingWhat it does
Sticky ContactKeeps the form pre-filled with a returning contact's known details
Enable TimezoneRecords the respondent's timezone with each submission
Use GDPR-Compliant FontSwitches to a GDPR-compliant font for the form

Step 4 — Sync Submissions to Contacts

The Sync to Contacts toggle lives in the editor's top bar (not the Settings tab) and applies to the whole form. When turned on, each submission automatically creates or updates a matching CRM contact.

Note: Sync to Contacts requires an Email or Phone field on the form to match submissions to contacts. If neither is present, a warning banner appears in the top bar.

Once enabled, every submission is tagged with a Contact Sync status — Synced, Failed, or Skipped — visible on that form's row in the Submissions tab.
