Receiving Emails

When a contact replies to an email you sent through QuantixOne, or sends an email to your configured inbound address, the message is automatically received and linked to the correct contact's conversation.

How Inbound Email Works

QuantixOne uses receipt rules on your verified sending domain to capture incoming emails. When a message arrives:

  1. The system identifies which contact sent it (by matching the From address).
  2. The email is attached to that contact's conversation timeline.
  3. A new conversation is created if one doesn't already exist.

No manual action is needed — received emails appear automatically.

Viewing Received Emails

Open any contact's conversation to see all inbound and outbound emails in the timeline. Inbound emails appear on the left side of the timeline (same as inbound WhatsApp or SMS messages).

Each inbound email shows:

  • From — The sender's email address
  • To / CC / BCC — All recipient addresses
  • Subject — Email subject line
  • Body — Full email content (HTML rendered)
  • Attachments — Downloadable file links if present
  • Timestamp — When the email was received

Email Attachments in Inbound Messages

If the contact sent a file attachment, it appears below the email body as a downloadable link. Click it to download the file.

Notifications for Inbound Emails

If you have notifications enabled, QuantixOne will alert you when a new inbound email arrives in a conversation you are assigned to. Check your notification settings under Settings → Notifications.

Replying to an Inbound Email

To reply to an inbound email:

  1. Click the Email tab in the message composer at the bottom of the conversation.
  2. The To field is pre-filled with the contact's email address.
  3. The Subject field is pre-filled with Re: [original subject].
  4. Write your reply and click Send.
