Activity Logs

The Activity Logs section provides a complete audit trail of every action taken in Media Storage — uploads, deletions, renames, moves, and more. Use it to track who did what and when.

From the Media Storage dashboard, click the quick navigation menu in the top-right and select Activity Logs.

Reading the Logs Table

Each row in the table represents a single action and shows:

ColumnDescription
ActionThe type of action (Upload, Delete, Rename, Move, etc.)
File / FolderThe name of the item that was acted on
Entity / ServiceThe module or service the action originated from
UserThe team member who performed the action
Date & TimeWhen the action occurred

Filtering Logs

Use the filter controls above the table to narrow the log view:

  • Date range — Defaults to the last 30 days. Use the date picker to set a custom range.
  • Action type — Filter by Upload, Delete, Rename, Move, or other action types.
  • Entity / Service — Filter by the source module (e.g., Media Storage, Contacts).
  • User — Filter by a specific team member.

Deleting a Log Entry

To remove a single log entry, click the icon on its row and select Delete. This removes only the log record — it does not reverse the action that was logged.

Note: Log deletion should be used carefully. Removing log entries reduces your audit trail.

Exporting Logs

If export is available for your plan, use the Export button above the table to download the filtered log as a CSV file.
