Creating a Deal
In QuantixOne CRM, a Deal (also called an Opportunity) represents a potential sale or business opportunity with a contact. Each deal lives in a pipeline stage and tracks the value, progress, and ownership of the opportunity.
Creating a New Deal
From the Pipeline Board or the Opportunities list, click the + New Deal button (or the + icon at the top of any stage column).
Fill in the deal details in the form that appears:
Deal Name
Enter a clear, descriptive name for the deal — typically the prospect's company name plus the product or service (e.g., "Acme Corp — Enterprise Plan").
Deal Value
Enter the projected contract value in your location's currency. This is used for pipeline forecasting.
Pipeline & Stage
Select which Pipeline this deal belongs to, and which Stage it starts in. You can move it to a different stage at any time after creation.
Contact
Link this deal to an existing contact in QuantixOne. Start typing the contact's name, email, or phone number to search.
Note: Linking a contact is optional but recommended. QuantixOne stores a snapshot of the contact's name, email, phone, and company at the time of deal creation — so the deal history is preserved even if the contact record changes later.
Additional Details
- Owner — The sales rep responsible for this deal. Defaults to the team member creating it.
- Priority — Low, Medium, High, or Urgent. Helps the team focus on the most important deals.
- Source — Where this deal came from (e.g., WhatsApp, Form, Manual, Phone Call).
- Tags — Apply labels to categorize this deal.
Click Save to create the deal. It will appear immediately in the selected pipeline stage on the board.
Viewing a Deal
Click on any deal card on the Pipeline Board (or from the Opportunities list) to open the deal detail page.
The deal detail page shows all information about the opportunity.
The detail page is organized into sections:
- Deal Overview — Name, value, status, pipeline, and stage.
- Contact — The linked contact with their name, email, phone, and company.
- Participants — Owner, assigned team members, and followers.
- Tags — Labels applied to this deal.
- Custom Fields — Any additional fields your team has configured.
- Activity Log — A full history of every change made to this deal.
Updating Deal Details
To update any field on a deal, open the deal and click the Edit button (pencil icon) next to the field or section you want to change.
Click the pencil icon next to any section to edit it.
Updating Deal Value
Click the Deal Value field and enter the new amount. This is useful as negotiations progress and the contract value becomes clearer.
Assigning an Owner
To change who owns the deal, click the Owner field and select a team member from the list.
Setting Priority
Click the Priority field and select the appropriate level:
