Winning and Losing Deals

Every deal in QuantixOne CRM moves toward one of four outcomes: Won, Lost, Abandoned, or remains Open. Marking the correct outcome helps your team track performance, learn from losses, and forecast revenue accurately.


Deal Status Overview

StatusMeaning
OpenThe deal is actively being worked on.
WonThe deal was successfully closed. The customer signed or purchased.
LostThe deal did not close. The prospect chose a competitor or declined.
AbandonedThe deal is no longer being actively pursued (stalled, unresponsive).

Marking a Deal as Won

When a deal closes successfully, open the deal and click the Mark as Won button.

Changing Deal Status Change the status of a deal to reflect its outcome.

A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm to update the deal status to Won.

The deal is immediately moved off the active pipeline board and into the Won view. The closing timestamp is recorded automatically.


Marking a Deal as Lost

When a deal does not close, open the deal and click the Mark as Lost button.

A dialog will appear asking for the Lost Reason. Select the reason that best describes why the deal did not close (e.g., "Chose Competitor", "Budget Not Approved", "No Response").

Note: Lost reasons are configured by your administrator. If you need a new reason added, contact your QuantixOne admin.

Click Confirm to mark the deal as Lost. The deal is moved off the active board and the lost reason is saved on the deal record.


Marking a Deal as Abandoned

Abandoned is for deals that are no longer being actively worked — for example, a prospect who has gone completely unresponsive over a long period, or a deal that has been de-prioritized indefinitely.

Open the deal and click the Mark as Abandoned button (or select Abandoned from the status dropdown).


Reopening a Deal

If a lost or abandoned deal comes back to life — for example, a prospect returns after budget is approved — you can reopen it.

Open the deal and click Reopen Deal (or set the status back to Open).

The deal will return to the pipeline board in its last known stage. You can then move it to the appropriate stage to continue working it.


Viewing Won and Lost Deals

By default, the Pipeline Board shows only Open deals. To see Won, Lost, or Abandoned deals, use the Status filter at the top of the board.

Click the Status filter and select Won, Lost, or Abandoned to view deals with that outcome.
