WhatsApp Analytics

The WhatsApp Analytics dashboard shows delivery and engagement metrics for all messages sent through your WhatsApp channel. Use it to monitor performance, spot delivery issues, and track read rates over any date range.


  1. Click Dashboard in the left sidebar.
  2. Scroll to the WhatsApp Analytics section, or click WhatsApp in the dashboard navigation.

If WhatsApp is not yet connected, the analytics section shows a prompt to connect your account.

Key Metrics

Messages SentTotal number of messages submitted for delivery
DeliveredMessages confirmed as received on the contact's device, plus the delivery rate (%)
ReadMessages opened by the contact (read receipts required), plus the read rate (%)
FailedMessages that could not be delivered

How Rates Are Calculated

  • Delivery Rate = Delivered ÷ Sent × 100
  • Read Rate = Read ÷ Delivered × 100

Date Range Selection

By default, the dashboard shows the last 7 days. To change the range:

  1. Click the Date Range picker at the top of the analytics section.
  2. Select a preset (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 60 days) or choose a custom start and end date.
  3. The metrics and chart update automatically.

Analytics Chart

The chart plots daily message volume over the selected period — split by Sent, Delivered, Read, and Failed.

  • For date ranges ≤ 7 days, the X-axis shows weekday names.
  • For ranges ≤ 60 days, the X-axis shows month/day.
  • For longer ranges, the X-axis shows month/year.

Connection Status in Analytics

If the WhatsApp account is disconnected or suspended, the analytics section displays a connection status banner instead of metrics. Click Connect WhatsApp to go to the channel settings and restore the connection.

Improving Low Delivery Rates

If delivery rates are low, check:

  • The contact's phone number is valid and has WhatsApp installed.
  • The template used is Approved — pending or rejected templates cannot be delivered.
  • Your WABA account is Active and not suspended.
  • The contact is not on the DND list for WhatsApp.
