Drip Campaigns
A Drip Campaign sends your bulk WhatsApp messages in controlled batches over time — rather than all at once. This avoids sudden spikes in message volume, which can negatively affect your quality rating, and lets you spread outreach across multiple days or weeks.
When to Use Drip Campaigns
- Large contact lists (thousands of contacts) where sending at once could trigger WhatsApp rate limits.
- Nurture sequences where you want to touch a contact multiple times at intervals.
- Business-hours-only sending to respect contact time zones.
Setting Up a Drip Campaign
In the bulk WhatsApp form:
- Select your template and map variables as usual.
- Under Sending Options, choose Drip Campaign.
Select Drip Campaign to reveal the drip configuration fields.

Example Configuration
A campaign with:
- Batch Quantity: 100
- Repeat Interval: 1 day
- Send Days: Monday–Friday
- Time Window: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
…will send 100 messages each weekday morning until all contacts in the list have been messaged.
Monitoring a Drip Campaign
After starting, the campaign appears in Conversations → Campaigns with:
- Total contacts in the campaign
- Sent so far and remaining
- Next batch date and time
- Status (Running, Paused, Completed)
Track progress and remaining batches on the campaign details page.
Pausing and Resuming
Click Pause on the campaign to stop future batches. Click Resume to restart from where it left off.
Pausing does not cancel batches already in progress — those will complete.
