Connecting WhatsApp

To use WhatsApp in QuantixOne, you must link your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) through a three-step onboarding flow. This flow creates a business account, creates a project, and then authorizes access through Meta's OAuth process.

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Go to Channels → WhatsApp.

If WhatsApp is not yet connected, you will see the onboarding wizard.

Click Create Business Account to proceed.

Step 2 — Create a Project

A Project links your WhatsApp Business Account to a specific sub-account or location within QuantixOne.

Step 3 — Connect via Meta

Use the correct Facebook account

Log in with the Facebook account that has Admin access to your Meta Business Manager. Using a personal account or one without admin rights will prevent the WABA from appearing in the selector.

  1. Click Connect with Meta.
  2. A Meta (Facebook) login popup opens.
  3. Log in with the Facebook account that manages your WhatsApp Business Manager.
  4. Grant the requested permissions.
  5. Select the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and phone number to link.
  6. Complete the Meta authorization flow.

Once authorized, QuantixOne receives your WABA credentials and activates the connection.

Verifying the Connection

After completing Step 3, the WhatsApp channel page shows your connection status. A green Active badge confirms the channel is ready to use.

If the status shows Pending or Setup Incomplete, check that all three steps were completed and that the Meta account has the required Business Manager permissions.

Connection can be lost if Meta permissions are revoked

If someone removes QuantixOne's access in Meta Business Manager, the channel status will show Failed. Click Reconnect to re-authorize without losing your templates or settings.

Reconnecting

If the connection is lost (e.g., Meta access was revoked), click Reconnect on the channel settings page to repeat the Meta OAuth step.
